Gate is anticipated to meet January-May 2026, subject to change.  I am supposed to get the GATE results from the district today, and will start figuring out a final GATE roster this week.

Hawk Tank: Restaurant Challenge 2026

 

This year, our 4th-6th grade GATE students will dive into the dynamic world of entrepreneurship by designing and pitching their very own fast-casual restaurant concept. This hands-on, project-based learning experience will challenge students to think like real business owners. They will collaborate to develop a unique restaurant concept, create a menu, design a brand, and even build a marketing plan. They will explore key business principles, including budgeting, market research, and customer service. This project empowers students to cultivate creativity while gaining a practical understanding of how small businesses are built from the ground up.
