Pep and Cheer
Cedarwood Pep and Cheer program includes 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students. It is designed to build school spirit, teamwork, leadership, and confidence in a positive and supportive environment. The program introduces students to the fundamentals of cheerleading and pep activities, including basic motions, chants, jumps, simple stunts (age-appropriate and supervised), and short dance routines.
Students learn the importance of cooperation, responsibility, and sportsmanship while representing their school at assemblies, rallies, and selected school events. The program focuses on encouraging school pride, promoting kindness, and creating an inclusive atmosphere where all participants feel valued and supported.
In addition to skill development, the Pep and Cheer program helps students strengthen communication skills, improve coordination and physical fitness, and develop leadership qualities. Emphasis is placed on safety, respect, commitment, and having fun while working together as a team.
